- How Information Is Collected — Through reservation forms, account creation, phone calls, emails, cookies, analytics tools and payment systems.
- How Information Is Used — To process reservations, verify renters, collect payments, communicate about rentals, provide customer service and prevent fraud.
- Payment Processing —Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor and we do not store or sell any customer or credit card information.
- Vehicle Location Data — Our carts contain GPS tracking devices that record location of the vehicles at all times. This information is the sole property of Bay Coast Carts and is not to be used for any purpose other than location of our asset.
- Cookies and Website Analytics —Google Analytics and some booking-platform cookies collect browser and usage information.
- Information Shared with Third Parties — Bay Coast Carts does not share any customer or credit card information with any third party, other than that required by it’s payment processors.
- Email and Text Messages — Customers may receive reservation updates, reminders or promotional messages via text and/or email. Data rates by phone carriers may apply. Customers may opt out of any marketing or promotional messages.
- Data Security and Retention — Bay Coast Carts collects only necessary information required for a reservation. We restrict outside access to this information and securely dispose of data when it is no longer needed. No personal information other than name, phone number and email address is retained beyond 30-days of the rental completion.
- Customer Privacy Rights — Customers may request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal information when applicable by contacting us via phone or email.
- Children’s Privacy — The rental website is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect the personal information of any minor.
