At Bay Coast Carts, our story began with a simple idea: experiencing the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast should be as relaxing as the destination itself.
After spending more than three decades building a career in hospitality in large cities across the country, our operator moved back to the Coast to be closer to family and his roots. He and his long-time friend and business partner could see the area was experiencing sustained growth as a family-friendly vacation destination. Throughout long careers in customer service, our principals studied client satisfaction and observed that the best vacations aren’t measured by schedules or dollars spent—vacations are measured by memories made. Great service isn’t just about providing a product or service that meets a need; it’s about creating an experience people remember long after they return home.
After returning home to the Coast, we could see visitors falling in love with our beautiful beaches, historic downtowns, wonderful restaurants, and noticed that one of the best ways to experience it all was from the seat of a street-legal golf cart. It’s slower, more enjoyable, and lets you truly take in everything our coastal towns have to offer. Here in Mississippi, many of our coastal cities are embracing the street-legal golf cart as a way to promote safe and enjoyable transportation that doesn’t require the same parking infrastructure as is needed for larger vehicles.
